Drop 8 individual tablespoons of frosting onto small cookie pan lined with parchment paper and freeze for 30 minutes.
Measure 8 scoops of ¼ cup cookie dough & place on large cookie pan. Shape into balls & flatten into 3.5-inch circles.
Place 1 portion of frozen frosting in the center of each cookie dough circle.
Bring dough edges up to cover the frosting & shape into balls, being careful not to squeeze out the frosting.
Freeze again for 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 22 minutes in a traditional oven.
