A Note From Our President on COVID-19


Valued Cinnabon Guests,

We recognize the impact of COVID-19 is top of mind for many of you. For us, your wellbeing and the wellbeing of our team is our number one priority. While we are currently maintaining regular operations, we want to share the steps we’ve taken to continue serving fresh baked cinnamon rolls, baked goods and beverages, and the plans we have in place to react rapidly should our environment change.

All bakeries have as their highest priority the cleanliness and sanitation procedures recommended by the CDC and health department. While this is a consistent focus and priority in our bakeries, over the past several weeks we have reinforced our protocols and added important measures. This includes:

  • Increasing the frequency for sanitizing surfaces.
  • Increasing frequency of handwashing throughout employee shifts.
  • Encouraging employees to minimize hand-to-hand contact, such as shaking hands. 
  • Reinforcing appropriate sanitation procedures for all tools and equipment.
  • Encouraging any of our team members who are not feeling well to stay home.
  • Using tamper-evident packaging for third party delivery orders.

Some of our bakery communities may be impacted more than others, which could require us to adjust our guest experience. We appreciate your understanding as we identify these needs and make changes in real time to provide an experience that meets our high standards. This could include the removal of or the closing of seating areas, removal of guest-accessible condiments and utensils, adjusting the location of where we roll or display our products, and providing extra packaging for purchased items. Should you prefer, you can find many of our mall bakeries on third party delivery providers to bring your favorite Cinnabon items directly to you.

While our U.S. bakeries are currently maintaining regular operations, should a venue such as a mall or food court that our bakery is in close operations, please be assured we will closely work with our venue partners to follow their lead by closing our bakery and executing any required sanitary and cleaning procedures.
