Joe Guith

President, Cinnabon®

Joe Guith is the president of Cinnabon®, LLC, the market leader among cinnamon roll bakeries. The company is well-known for fresh, aromatic, oven-hot cinnamon rolls, as well as a variety of other baked goods and specialty beverages. Cinnabon® currently operates over 1,200 franchised locations worldwide, primarily in high traffic venues such as shopping malls, airports, train stations, travel plazas, entertainment centers and military establishments. Cinnabon® is also a multi-channel licensor, partnering with other companies to provide over 70 brand licensed products at foodservice and retail venues.

Joe has spent the past 20 years leading many operations within the food service, consumer products, technology and retail arenas. He has held executive roles including the vice president of U.S. vending operations for The Coca-Cola Company and South territory general manager with KFC. Additionally, he was a management and strategy consultant for companies such as Molson Coors Brewing Company and Staples, Inc. Since joining Cinnabon in 2014, Joe has led the company’s rebranding and storefront refresh and adoption of technological features including the Revel POS and Apple Pay to elevate the customer experience. He was appointed COO in April 2014 and named president in January 2015.

Joe is a dedicated member of the community and serves on the Board of Directors for re:loom, a division of the Initiative for Affordable Housing in metro Atlanta that empowers and employs homeless and at-risk women to create and sell recycled home furnishing products. This year, Joe is working to establish a partnership between Cinnabon and re:loom to donate outdated Cinnabon uniforms to re:loom’s weavehouse for members to repurpose and sell. Joe is also developing a program to assist re:loom’s weavers-in-career-advancement by preparing them for retail and corporate employment opportunities.
